Forsyth Central’s girls left nothing to chance this time.
The Lady Bulldogs avenged a loss to Stone Mountain earlier in the season with a 58-36 victory against the Lady Pirates on Tuesday on the road.
Stone Mountain defeated Central 51-50 in the South Forsyth Turkey Shootout last November on a game-winning three-pointer with only 5.8 seconds on the clock.
No such opportunity was available this time, though, as Central took a 16-7 lead after one quarter and never looked back.
Rachael Tomlinson and Caylin Davenport led the Lady Dawgs with 14 points apiece. Christy Hewatt was close behind with 13.
Central returns home to face North Springs tonight.
