City gets it right on recycling at parks

Forsyth County News
I would like to commend the Cumming city administrator, Gerald Blackburn, for his effort for the environment in arranging recycle bins to be placed in city parks.

Last weekend I noticed that plastic bottle recycle bins were placed in Dobbs Creek Recreation Center. This is a great place to encourage recycling.

Plastic bottles take 700 years before they begin to decompose, according to Earth911.com. In addition, they take up a large amount of landfill space. Thanks to Mr. Blackburn for his quick response.
