There are reports of 1.8 magnitude earthquake in Northeast Forsyth on the night of Dec. 9
No damage was reported according to authorities

According to the US Geological Service there was a 1.8 magnitude earthquake in Northeast Forsyth County on Dec. 9 at around 8:45 p.m.

Sheriff Ron Freeman posted that there were “dozens of calls to 911 and FCSO but thankfully no damage reported.”

Officials with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City said Forsyth County and surrounding areas will be under a Red Flag Warning for potential fires on Saturday.
