How Forsyth County’s first responders dealt with the recent severe storm that ripped through the area

As it became clear that last week’s storm had left more damage than expected in Forsyth County, local first responders were on the scene quickly to deal with the fallout. During the storm on Thursday, July 20, officials with Forsyth County’s Emergency Management Agency, Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department and others gathered at the county’s Public Safety Complex on Settingdown Road to assess damage and coordinate efforts.
