Residents in Forsyth County are bracing for more frigid winter weather.
Hours after a Winter Weather Advisory ended, the National Weather Service issued a Wind Chill Advisory for the area beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. and ending at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
At 1 p.m., temperatures in downtown Cumming were hovering around 30 degrees. Wind chills are expected to drop as low as -9 degrees tonight, with the actual temperature dropping to 14 degrees.
