Local first graders turned compassion into action in a heartfelt project to benefit kids in foster care. Forsyth County News was there when they handed off their donations to Totes to Tots.

The University of North Georgia’s faculty senate voted Monday to join a “mutual defense compact” with Kennesaw State University and passed a pair of resolutions condemning President Donald Trump’s “unprecedented assault” on higher education.
