A Cumming man has been arrested after authorities say he failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle in Dahlonega on Tuesday evening, causing a crash that killed a 24-year-old student at the University of North Georgia.

A DeSana Middle School student is facing charges after an investigation into a bomb threat hoax was traced back to the student and a 10-year-old in Maine. Sheriff Ron Freeman says it’s no joke — and it’s time for parents and students to help stop the “stupid foolishness.”
