Traffic backed up Friday along Pilgrim Mill Road as crews worked on a maintenance resurfacing project for Forsyth County.
The stretch of Pilgrim Mill from Ga. 400 to Freedom Parkway received the new asphalt under traffic, with flaggers and a pilot car leading vehicles through the lane closure.
Work began after the morning commute and wrapped up late Friday afternoon.
"As with all such projects, the county strives to keep delays to a minimum," said spokeswoman Jodi Gardner.
