ATLANTA (AP) — Forecasters say a mix of rain and snow could make travel dangerous in a large part of north Georgia, including the Forsyth County area.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for a large part of north Georgia, along and north of a line from Carrollton to Lawrenceville.
The potential problems with the latest round of winter weather are expected from 2 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters say a rain-snow mix early Tuesday could change over to all snow, though large accumulations of snow are not expected.
They say a dusting to less than an inch of snow is possible in the region, but that may leave roads slick.
