One injured in south Forsyth rollover crash
emergency

SOUTH FORSYTH — A Suwanee man was seriously injured early Wednesday when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving in south Forsyth, causing it to flip over.

According to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, alcohol and speed are thought to be factors in the single-vehicle crash.

The wreck occurred before the morning rush hour on McGinnis Ferry Road near the Shakerag community in the extreme south end of the county.

The driver was taken to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, Rodriguez said.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

Traffic slowed in the area as crews worked to clear the scene, Rodriguez said, though the road was never shut down.
