One man from Forsyth County has been pronounced dead following a two-vehicle wreck that happened at the intersection of Browns Bridge Road and Bethel Road at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Deputy Phil Alexander, traffic specialist for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Lee Potter, a 55-year-old man from Forsyth County, was pronounced dead at the scene after losing control of his vehicle and striking another vehicle.
A press release from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said that Potter, driving a 2005 Mercedes Benz west on Browns Bridge Road, lost control of his vehicle, crossed over the centerline, “and struck a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox traveling east on Browns Bridge Road.”
The release stated that two other individuals were seriously injured in the wreck.
A male juvenile passenger in the Mercedes Benz was airlifted to a hospital, and is in guarded critical condition.
The driver of the Equinox, a 57-year-old man from Hall County, was taken to a hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
The wreck is currently under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
