One dead in north Forsyth wreck

FORSYTH COUNTY - One person is dead after the vehicle he was driving struck a tree in north Forsyth this morning.  

According to Division Chief Jason Shivers, the sole occupant of the vehicle, described as an adult male, is dead at the scene.  Shivers said that another person who was related to the victim was taken to the hospital after arriving at the scene and suffering a medical episode.  

The van he was driving struck a tree on Wright Bridge Road which is now closed in the area of Hurt Bridge Road.  

The wreck, which was reported about 9:30 this morning, is under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
