Library system honors volunteers at brunch

WEST FORSYTH — The Forsyth County library system recently held a brunch to honor its volunteers. More than 50 people — including staff, community volunteers and members of the library board and the Forsyth County Public Library Friends and Advocates group — attended the event April 9 at the Post Road library branch. Jon McDaniel, executive director of the library system, thanked the volunteers for their many hours of service, while Mary Helen McGruder spoke on behalf of the library board to acknowledge their service.
