FORSYTH COUNTY — Ray Perren, president of Lanier Technical College, recently accepted a $10,000 check from E.H. Reid for the Tony and Kathy Reid Memorial Scholarship, which friends and family established in 2000.

Lanier Tech students who attend the Forsyth campus and live in Forsyth County may apply for the scholarship through the Lanier Technical College Foundation. 

Among those taking part in the ceremony were, from left, Perren, Reid, who was the father of Tony Reid, Joanne Tolleson, Teresa Grizzle and Dennis Stockton.
