FORSYTH COUNTY — Forsyth County Fire Capt. Brian Wilson was recently honored for completing the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program.

The program provides participants with a broad perspective on various facets of fire and emergency services administration.

Over a four-year span, they complete resident graduate-level and upper-level college-equivalent courses and research.

Wilson, who works in the training division and has been with the department since 2000, is one of just 53 firefighters in Georgia to ever complete the program.

Taking part in the ceremony were, from left, Fire Chief Danny Bowman, County Manager Doug Derrer, Wilson and his children, Jonathan and Katherine.
