Forsyth educator named to board of PAGE

CUMMING — A Forsyth County educator has been appointed to the board of director for the Professional Association of Georgia Educators.

Miranda Willingham, a teacher at Whitlow Elementary School, will serve a three year term, according to a news release from the organization.

Willingham will represent PAGE District 9, a 20-county region of northeast Georgia with about 8,700 PAGE members.

A PAGE member for more than 10 years, Willingham has served the organization as a building contact. She has also participated in the PAGE Teacher Academy. This will be her first term on the board.

PAGE, the state's largest organization for professional educators, is an independent association of more than 84,000 teachers, administrators and support personnel members.

The association provides professional learning to enhance competence and confidence, build leadership and increase student achievement.
