DAWSONVILLE — An arctic cold front moving through north Georgia over the next several hours has Dawson County school leaders making the move to send students home early today.
All Dawson County schools will be releasing students at 12:30 p.m., according to officials.
Forecasts are calling for up to 2 inches of snow. Higher elevations could possibly see more.
In addition to the winter weather advisory, Dawson County is also under a wind chill advisory until 10 a.m. Thursday with wind chill factors between -5 and 5 degrees across parts of north Georgia.
