Suspect sought in armed robbery of CVS in Forsyth County
Police lights

The CVS Pharmacy off of Ga. 20 and Haw Creek Parkway was robbed at gunpoint at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, authorities say.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, a male suspect entered the location, displayed a gun to a clerk, demanded cash and left the location on foot.

The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie, sunglasses and a black scarf wrapped around his face, according to authorities.

A post made to the sheriff's office Facebook page indicates that residents should expect to see an increased law enforcement presence in the area.
