North Forsyth domestic incident ends in officer involved shooting

A domestic stalking call in north Forsyth early Friday morning turned into a chase that ended with one suspect shot by a deputy according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.  

Cpl. Doug Rainwater said the incident began when deputies responded to a domestic call at 4:07 Friday morning.  Rainwater said that the call turned into a chase that ended on Brown's Bridge Road at Raines Drive, which is near the six-mile bridge.  

Rainwater said the deputy was uninjured. The condition of the suspect has not been released.  

The GBI is responding to investigate the shooting, and Brown's Bridge Road will remain closed to through traffic from George Ingram to Raines Drive during the investigation.
