Missing 14-year-old

UPDATE 5:15 p.m.: Authorities say that the boy has been located.

Authorities say that a search is now underway for an autistic 14-year-old boy that walked out of a Cumming doctor's office on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Chief David Marsh of the Cumming Police Department, the boy went missing at about 3:10 p.m. and was last seen in the area of Tribble Gap Road and Elm and Dahlonega streets but could be hiding somewhere off of the roadway.

Marsh said that anyone who spots the boy should not approach him but immediately call 911.

Currently there is a large presence of officers searching for the boy in that area and Marsh says that they may deploy addition units, drones and a helicopter to assist in the search.
