The Forsyth County Archery Club is holding its second annual Thanksgiving Charity Fun Shoot on Saturday.
The event, set for 2 to 5 p.m. at Ducktown Park, is open to the public.
Participants can shoot at pumpkins and 3-D targets. There will be candy and prizes.
Instruction and equipment, including bows and arrows, will be provided for youth.
The event raises food and money for The
Place of Forsyth, a nonprofit social services organization.
Cost per child under age 18 is five cans of food or $5; per adult, it’s eight cans of food or $10.
