How Forsyth County is beating the heat on this first day of summer
Thursday, June 20 officially marked the beginning of summer, and whether
at the Old Atlanta Recreation Center Splash Pad, the Cumming Aquatic Center or
Lake Lanier, many locals found a way to beat the heat. Meanwhile, work crews,
including those working on a power line on Pilgrim Mill Road, did their best to
stay cool in the warm weather.
