The Cumming Scare Fair, north Georgia’s newest haunted attraction, is looking for volunteers for all positions including scare actors, security, build crew, operations and more.

There is a casting call for actors at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

During the haunted attraction, the local water authority finds a new type of parasite in the water supply and what happens next will haunt you for weeks to come, according to organizers of the event.

There will also be food trucks, vendors, games and more.

Scare Fair only lasts four days, so make plans early to see the Halloween event.

All proceeds benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

Hours: 8 p.m. to midnight, Oct. 18 and 19, Oct. 25 and 26.
