Prep lacrosse: Longhorns march on

The defending state champion Lambert High School boys lacrosse team has reached the semifinals of the state Class A-AAAA tournament. The undefeated and top-ranked Longhorns, who defeated St. Pius X 11-2 at home on Saturday, will travel to Atlanta on Wednesday to face Westminister. Prep soccer: Lambert boys on to semifinals

The top-ranked Lambert High School boys soccer team has advanced to the semifinals of the state Class AAAA tournament. The Longhorns defeated visiting McIntosh 3-0 on Friday night. With the win, they also avenged last year’s quarterfinal upset at the hands of the Chiefs. Next up for Lambert is Marist, which defeated Glynn Academy.
